Course Description: 

This 4-day course aims to equip the participants on how to work with organizational change. The course introduces the participants to what OD is about and how to line leaders play a vital role in implementing change. It will also aim to equip participants with working knowledge on process consultation principles, core theories, ethics and values of Organization Development as well as a practical understanding of the full OD consulting cycle. Finally, it elaborates on the critical use of self in leading organizational change. The course will be carried through lecture, plenary discussions, case study, and structure learning exercises.

 

Course Objectives:

At the end of the course, the participants will be able to:

  1. Understand organizational change
  2. Attain skills in diagnosing the need for change and designing change interventions
  3. Identify the competencies of an effective change leader
  4. Identify improvements to a change plan project
