Course Description:
The Certificate Course in Performance and Rewards Management is a course designed to help participants develop a Performance and Rewards Management System.
Course Objectives:
As a result of the certificate course, the participants would be able to design a comprehensive Performance and Rewards Management System suited to their organization. Specifically, they will be able to:

Course Outline:
Module 1: Overview of Strategic Human Resource Management
- This module orients the participants about key characteristics of Strategic HR Management. It discusses the difference between traditional and transformative, and HR and business drivers for Talent Management.
Module 2: Performance Management
- This module covers the factors that affect employee performance. This section provides understanding of employee performance specifically the evolution of work and the profile of today's workforce. It also covers motivation theories regarding performance and rewards management and the psychological contract. The participants will go over the Performance Management Cycle-it's purpose, drivers, and useful processes and tools with regard to Performance Management. This module will also cover how to effectively link Performance Management to other HR systems.
Module 3: Fundamentals of Rewards Management
- Module three will discuss critical concepts in Rewards Management specifically Total Rewards and its importance. The participants will go through discussions on compensation strategies, designing compensation structures, job analysis, job evaluation tools, and internal alignment with Performance and Rewards Management. The factors that affect the external competitiveness of Rewards Management will also be covered along with designing pay-level and pay-mix policies and decisions.
